Polish Interpreting
Ad hoc Interpreting is the most informal type of interpreting. Ad hoc interpreting is accurate where there are small groups involved. No particular equipment is necessary.
Consecutive Interpreting happens when a speaker makes a pause every few minutes to allow interpreter who has previously taken notes to provide message to the audience.
Simultaneous Interpreting (Conference Interpreting) is the most formal and complex type of interpreting. It involves an interpreter sitting in the booth with headphones and translating the speech simultaneously. It involves job of two interpreters taking turn every 15-20 minutes.
Whispered interpreting is also called a “cuchotage” interpreting. A speaker makes a pause here and there to allow the interpreter to whisper message to the audience (usually a small group of people).
